Lauren Bennett CATTANEO, Ph.D.

Dr. Cattaneo is an Assistant Professor of Psychology. Her areas of interest include domestic violence, risk assessment, and psychology of gender. Dr. Cattaneo is the Co-Investigator on a Department of Justice funded program evaluation at the US Attorney’s Office in the District of Columbia , and has held prior positions conducting policy-relevant research. Her major interest is the utility of psychology for addressing pressing social problems. Her research has focused on domestic violence in the context of the court system, and risk assessment in domestic violence cases. She has published papers in the Journal of Community Psychology, the Journal of Interpersonal Violence, Violence and Victims, and Violence against Women.
