FCPS accepts results from either group or individually-administered tests as part of the qualification process for gifted and talented services.
Group assessments tend to be more affordable and efficient because they are given in small groups, and you will receive results in a one or two-page automated report.
If you would like an appointment to review group testing
results, you may call 703-993-4200 to request an appointment at
an additional charge.
Individual assessments include a
parent and child interview and intelligence test, as well as an interpretive session in which assessment results are explained. You will also receive a written report of the results of the assessment.
Individually-administered tests of academic achievement are also available
through the GMU Cognitive Assessment Program.
