Problems We Treat

At the GMU CPS, we provide individualized, scientifically supported therapy. We treat a wide variety of concerns including, but are not limited to:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Behavioral issues
  • Attention problems
  • School problems
  • Relationship and family problems
  • Parenting difficulties
  • Trauma and stress-related difficulties
  • Eating and sleeping problems
  • Adjustment problems including medical issues
  • Bereavement

We also have specialized expertise in intensive, brief therapy for specific phobias (e.g., fear of animals and insects, needles, pill swallowing, heights, enclosed spaces, flying, etc.).
