The COVID-19 pandemic has caused rates of anxiety, depression, and trauma to skyrocket and has dramatically increased the need for mental health care in our community. The need is especially critical for frontline and essential employees.

GAPS IN CARE

There has been little effort to provide psychological services to healthcare providers, essential workers and their families in Virginia. The Center aims to expand services by establishing a stepped-care model of support for essential workers psychologically impacted by COVID-19.
